I finished the second book of the Series of Unfortunate Events last night, and tonight I'm going to take a break from that because Jon-Marc (fellow Borders drone) lend me his advance copy of a new Dan Savage book: The Commitment. Very exciting. I'm going to start reading it tonight, but I know full well that on Saturday all reading of anything that is not Harry Potter will stop.
Let me clarify that I am driven to start reading HP right away not necessarily because I am dying to know what happens next in the great Harry Potter saga (though that is part of it), but moreso because I'm afraid someone will RUIN THE ENDING if I don't finish it before they have the chance. Two years ago, a fellow who scoffed at the Harry Potter series found out the shocking ending, and blurted it out to me before I reached that part in the book. It didn't totally ruin the ending for me, because I didn't really believe he knew what he was talking about. But I will NOT let that happen again.
The fourth season of W&G comes out on August 16th. When I get my schedule for that week, I will let you know when my W&G party is.
I had such a great time hanging out with Laura today! We were Sonny & Cher!
